Tampa Bay Couples Counseling

Privacy Policy

This site collects very little. It sets no advertising cookies, and it does not sell personal information or share it with advertisers.

This page lists what is collected, why, and what is still being set up. Last updated September 2026.

When you read the site

The company that hosts the site keeps standard server logs, such as the pages requested, the time, and the IP address and browser that asked for them. Hosts keep these for security and to keep the site running.

The site does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not run an analytics tool today.

Awaiting sign-off: the analytics tool

If an analytics tool is added, this section will name it, say what it collects, and say how to opt out, before it is switched on.

When you call

The phone number on this site is a tracked line. Call tracking records details of the call, such as the time, its length, and the number it came from, so the practice can count how many calls the site brings in.

Awaiting sign-off: the call-tracking provider and whether calls are recorded

The provider has not been chosen. Before the number goes live, this section will name it, say whether calls are recorded, and say how long records are kept.

When you use the contact form

The form on the about page asks for your name, your email address, what your message is about, and the message. It goes to the people who run the site and is used only to reply to you. Please do not include details about your relationship or your health; a web form is not the place for them.

What you tell us in a session

The confidentiality protections written into Florida law attach to a state mental-health license. We hold none, so those protections do not attach to what you say in a session here, and you should know that before you decide what to say.

Ask us how we handle what you tell us, and how we handle something one partner says alone. We would rather answer that on the phone than have you assume an answer.

Selling and sharing

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers. We would disclose information only if the law required it.

How long we keep things

Server logs are kept by the host for the period its own policy sets.

Awaiting sign-off: where form messages are stored and for how long

The form is off until its destination is chosen. This section will name the service that receives messages and how long they are kept before the form switches on.

Your choices

You can read every page on this site without giving us anything. You can call a counselor through the number on the site without using the form. You can ask us what we hold about you, and ask us to delete it, through the contact form. Every page also reads in full with JavaScript switched off.

Security

Every page is served over an encrypted connection, and messages sent through the form travel encrypted too. Encryption protects a message only while it is in transit, which is one more reason to keep personal details out of a web form.

Children

This site is written for adults and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18.

Questions and changes

To ask about this policy, or to ask us to delete a message you sent, use the contact form on the about page. When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
